For Netflix’s Netflix House, Mycotoo developed the creative concept for Stranger Things: Face the Dark, an immersive, interactive experience inspired by the Stranger Things universe. Designed as a shared world adventure with individualized storytelling, the experience introduced next generation interactivity through personal audio devices and reactive technology.

Each guest navigates the environment with a flashlight and dedicated audio track, uncovering clues as the world responds in real time. Light shifts, sound adapts, and narrative threads evolve based on discovery. The result is a layered, replayable experience where every participant moves through the same physical space while encountering a uniquely tailored journey within the darkness.
